In addition, IFC has established an extensive network of private donors and philanthropic organizations across the United States and connected to local and state governments in California. In 2022, IFC expanded its comprehensive services to include Request for Proposals/Request for Application process design, implementation, scoring tools, and evaluation, partnering with foundations, government entities, and the private sector on grant funding initiatives.

Since its founding in 2020, IFC has successfully fundraised $2.5 million in funding from private donors, philanthropic organizations, and local, state and federal government.

About Our Founder

Tuquan Harrison is a scalable business professional, innovative leader, and strategist who founded Intersectional Futures Consulting (IFC) in 2020 to address systemic disparities in funding for community serving nonprofit organizations. With expertise at the intersection of the nonprofit, government, and philanthropic sectors, Tuquan partners with organizations to develop sustainable financial strategies and enhance their operational effectiveness.

Tuquan’s approach is rooted in strategic capital allocation, organizational capacity-building, and data-driven decision-making to ensure that mission-driven organizations can scale their impact and achieve long-term sustainability. Their work is informed by a comprehensive background in fundraising, direct grantmaking, strategy development, and implementation, with a focus on designing tailored solutions that optimize funding streams and maximize service delivery.

In addition, Tuquan has extensive experience in program development and implementation for nonprofits in the State of California, helping organizations design and execute impactful initiatives that align with their mission and drive measurable outcomes.

Through Intersectional Futures Consulting, Tuquan provides executive-level advisory, capacity-building initiatives, and growth strategies that empower organizations to navigate complex funding landscapes and strengthen their leadership within the sector.
